Joe Strada Bio

Joe attended Winnetonka High School in Kansas City, where he excelled as a three-sport letterman in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. His athleticism and dedication earned him First Team All-Conference honors in all three sports. He was also recognized at the state level, being named First Team All-State and All-Metro in both Football and Baseball.

Following high school, Joe accepted a baseball scholarship to Wichita State University before transferring in his sophomore year to Central Missouri State, now known as the University of Central Missouri (UCM). During his time at UCM, he distinguished himself as a standout athlete, earning First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors for three consecutive years. As a junior, Joe was named Second Team All-American, and as a senior, he was recognized as a First Team Pre-Season All-American. A key contributor to the 2003 UCM National Championship Baseball Team, Joe’s achievements have led to his induction into the Hall of Fame eight times—individually and as part of all three championship teams in both the UCM Athletics and UCM Baseball Halls of Fame.

Joe graduated in 2004 with a degree in Business and returned to Kansas City to join his father and brother in the family business, Allied Refreshment Company. As a full-line vending operator, Allied Refreshment is now one of the largest independent vending companies in the region, serving a wide variety of clients across the area.

Joe is married to his wife of nine years, Marie Strada. Together, they have three children—Rosalie, John, and Dominic. Their son John is currently a proud member of the Naturals 7U baseball team, continuing the family tradition of athletic involvement and passion for the game.
