Joe Christiano Bio
Coach Joe was born and raised in Kansas City, specifically the Northland area. He has been with the Naturals since the start of it all. As a young man striving to learn the game of baseball, he has been surrounded by knowledgeable coaches/mentors to help not only his personal game development but also grow his coaching skills and pass that information down to the youth of today. Joe graduated from Rockhurst High School and was a part of one of the best seasons of the school's history, finishing as runner-up in the state championship game in 2004. Joe went on to play at the colligate level at both the JUCO and NAIA level and graduated from Park University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in Legal Studies.
Throughout his playing and coaching career, Joe has valued a great work ethic, positive attitude, family, and a willingness to work as a team. These values have been picked up through life from the people that have influenced his life the most, one of them being his father, Angelo, who still coaches by his side to this day. By adopting these values, an athlete will "never lose" in the game of life, on and off the field.
As Coach of the 11u Naturals, Coach Joe is devoted to creating a positive team atmosphere. His main goal is to maximize the development of each individual player, while continuing to grow their love for the game of baseball. Outside of baseball season, Coach Joe also assists with the Necco Raiders Youth Football team.
As a family man, Joe has been married to his wife, Brooke, for nearly 10 years. They share three beautiful children together, Joe Pete Jr, Vincent, and Angelo.
