Coach Doug is a lifelong Northlander and is proud to have been part of the Naturals organization for the past two seasons, coaching his younger son. He has a deep passion for youth sports, which extends to coaching his older son’s Major-level travel baseball team as well as multiple basketball teams. Having played competitive sports from a young age through high school, Doug excelled in baseball, earning three Varsity letters and leading his conference in batting average and steals during his final two years.

Doug has a strong passion for the mental and analytical aspects of sports. He often says, "You must win between the ears to win on the field and in life." He firmly believes that youth sports not only develop better athletes but, more importantly, shape young people into successful adults. The life skills learned through teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and overcoming failure play a crucial role in personal growth.

Beyond coaching, Doug enjoys spending time with family and friends and hosting events that bring people together.

Professionally, he specializes in designing and implementing ERP software for companies in the green industry. He finds fulfillment in helping businesses and individuals succeed by developing well-thought-out solutions that drive growth and long-term success.
