Coach Ryan was born and raised in Kearney, Nebraska and graduated from Kearny High School in 2017. During high school, he was a 4-sport letter winner in football, basketball, track & field, and competed in American Legion Baseball during the summer. 

After high school, he attended Northwest Missouri State and competed on the baseball team. He was a 3-time All MIAA performer with 3rd team all conference honors in 2023. He played outfield and first base and slashed .337 with 13 home-runs and 58 RBIs as a senior. Additionally, he completed his Undergraduate in Finance and Management and obtained his Master’s of Business Administration.

In November of 2025, Ryan got married to my wife, Caroline. Outside of baseball, they enjoy watching movies, spending time outdoors and playing with their dog, Hank.
